I have been feeding a stray cat and 3 of her kittens for about 2 weeks. The kittens are eating and drinking on their own. I managed to catch one of the kittens so far, I want to get the other two and give them to good homes. I am going to live trap the momma and pay to have her fixed also, I already have 5 of my own. The kitten is a little scared but I am able to hold her and she seems to enjoy it, she purs and rubs on me. The problem is she hasn't pooped in the two days i've had her. She has been eating and drinking water and there are pee spots in the litter box but no poop. Her little belly is getting big and hard. I tried using a washcloth to massage her butt, but that didn't go over too well. If they are weaned from their mother and eating on their own, shouldn't they be pooping on their own as well? Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there anything I can give her to eat or drink that will act as a laxative?
Any help is appreciated!!!

She probably is pooping you just haven't found it yet or she needs a trip to the vet for a proper dose of wormer, she could be eating something she hasn't been able to digest yet- such as some people feed adult cat food to kittens and they just can't handle that  yet. Canned kitten food, kitten chow mixed with kitten formula and some extra water will help also canned pumpkin will work to help move things along. But more than likely she has a parasite load and needs a vet NOT over-the counter wormers that could likely harm her.
