Hi,

1 My little kitten about 8/9 weeks old is biting me ALL THE TIME.

2 She is even biting my face on a couple of occasions and drew blood.

3 I think being a male, I thought this was cute 4 the 1st couple of days and then realized it had the potential to be problamatic. She loooooves my lap and climbing all over me and if I am present she is on my lap or shoulder or neck which is really cool.

4 she also is a huge licker and will lick my arm for long periods of time.

5 However, 2 day was the worst, every time I went to pet her she would instantly went after my hands to bite.

6 I read to very gently tap her on the nose 4 cats dont like this and this will stop her biting but when I tap her on the nose she thinks I am playing and only gets into more like it's a game.

7 I did try pulling my hands away & saying NO firmly but I will go to pet her again & she goes right after me 2bite & her claws her out which is also something I am not crazy about 4 the future when she gets bigger.

8 Some time I will bring out her toy so she can play with that but since my time is really tight with work sometimes I need to work in "our personal time" by having her on my lap while I am doing my reading 4 work - this is not possible if she is biting.

Any thoughts?? Thanks

I am curious, would you like to share how you solved the biting problem?
