Talk to your vet- he or she might have other ideas on the fly problem. I have the same issues but with yellow jackets. Nasty creatures and they keep coming into the enclosure to get the food. I don't feed canned food in the summer just in the winter but they are still drawn to the dry food as well.

And not just one but two which is a feat in itself! They should be fed every two hours around the clock, so I am hoping you have help or time enough to nap during the day off an on! I find with that age, it is easier to use a small feeding syringe to feed them. Unless you can go to a wildlife rehab and get a bottle from them-I use the type with long nipple as most kittens that young haven't nursed off mom to get enough strength to know how to nurse. This tip helps because it goes a bit further down the mouth and dribbles the formula down the throat.

You can make the formula up before hand- I just whirl it in a blender and on kittens that small, I add one half a jar of chicken baby food to the mixture for more sustanance. If you don't have a blender, use a small jar and a small whisk and whisk the mixture up good, then cap off the jar and shake for a good minute. Set it on the counter until all the bubbles go away or you will give the kitties gas. Feed it warmed but don't nuke it- use a pot of hot water and set the jar in the hot (boiling then cooled a bit) water.

Good luck and THANK YOU for caring-

If they get along, and you can handle the financial aspect of their care, I would take all the cats with you in the move. Author: danilovesbella
Subject: Should I move my cat with me?
Posted: 02 May 2012 at 10:11am

Hi there,
So I have had cats all my life and love them so much! I rescued a kitten from underneath a portable at a school I used to work at when she was about 5 months. She has been obsessed with me ever since. She was brought into our home when we had 2 cats already. Sassy was 17 at the time and passed away a couple of months after I brought Bella home. Lucy is about 8 years old and Bella and her get along okay. Some days they fight and others I will find them laying together. I have just bought a home with my fiancé and am planning on bringing Bella with me as she is 100% my cat (I even have her name tattooed on me). My mom was super upset knowing I would be taking Bella so a month ago I rescued another cat named molly who I was hoping would fill that void for my mom. My question is will Bella be ale to adjust to a new home and one without any other cats when she has been used to having at least me other cat around ever since I rescued her 3 years ago? She basically will only cuddle and sleep with me. She's scared of new people at first but sort of warms up after a while. I'm just extremely nervous that she's going to get depressed and be so confused when she can not find the other cats in the new house. HELP!! My fiancé says I'm crazy if I don't bring her because she'll be more depressed without me there but I'm just so nervous that I'm being selfish by taking her. Please let me know if I'm doing the right thing by taking her. I will definitely be bringing her back to my moms a few times a month for a couple of days at a time when I am working long hours. THANK YOU!!!
