Abyssinian
The Abyssinian is an active cat with high intelligence and the capability to problem solve. Known to be challenging and not a cat that should be owned by everyone, anyone wanting to purchase an Abyssian should first understand the breed. They are curious and inventive and into everything. Possessing great patience they will fixate on one item for hours until something more interesting claims their attention. The higher they can perch in your home, the better they like it. They are capable of leaping great distances. One Abyssinian that I know loves to lie in wait on top of the refrigerator and drop spice containers down on the dog when he comes to his water bowl to drink. Mary Anne Miller is a free lance writer, website content provider and member of The Cat Writers’ Association. |
